RESIFLEX 40 FC, is a high-quality neutral, elastic one-component joint sealant based on polyurethane

CHARACTERISTICS
-easy to apply
-permanently elastic after curing
-very good adhesion to many surfaces

APPLICATION
-all sealing and adhesion applications in building and engineering industries
-structural bonding in vibrating constructions

APPLICATION EXAMPLES
-sealing and bonding in metal constructions
-sealing of shrinkage joints in concrete floors
-flexible bonding in container fabrication
-sealing of ship decks
-gluing of roof pans

PACKAGING AND COLOURS
Colours: white-light grey-black
Packaging: cartridges of 310 ml.- sausages of 600 ml.

SHELF LIFE
9 months in unopened packaging in a cool, dry storage place at temperatures between 5°C and 25° C

Substrate: all usual building surfaces State of Surface: clean, dry, free of grease Preparation: prime porous surfaces with Primer 100 (consult Huntsman Primer Table), no primer required for non porous surfaces.

Maximum Width: 30 mm.
Minimum depth: 5 mm.
Recommendation: 2 x depth = width

APPLICATION
Application Method: applicator gun (hand or pneumatic)
Application Temperature: +19 C - +30SC
Clean with: White Spirit immediately after application
Finish with: Soapy water before skinning
Repair with: Resiseal 2

SURFACES
Substrate: Most of the usual building substrates, most
metals, polyesters and plastics-not on glass
State of Surface: clean, dry, free of grease and dust
Preparation: Apply Primer 100 on porous surfaces, no
primer required for non porous surfaces. Some plastics and
painted surfaces might require the use of a primer (see
primer table)
