INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PREPARATION

Chip away all loose cracked and crumbling material. Remove all dirt, grease, oil and chemical residues using a pressure hose, sand blasting, or needle sealer. Lay bare all corroded steel reinforcement and remove all rust with a steel brush or by sand blasting. Protect bare steel with Araldite Primer 011.

MIXING
Mechanical mixing of resin based materials is preferred whenever possible. For mortars a forced action mixer is recommended like the cretangle or a slow speed drill with suitable attachment. Free fall mixers are not acceptable.

PRIMING
Use only Araldite Heavy Duty Primer. Pour the entire contents of one pack of primer hardener into the resin and mix until a uniform consistency is achieved. Once mixed apply a thin continuous film to the prepared area using a stiff brush.

APPLYING THE MORTAR
Araldite Repair Mortar supplied as three pre weighed packs in exact proportions. No other materials should be added. Stir the contents of each tin thoroughly. Pour the entire content of the hardener into the resin and hardener into the resin and mix until uniform. Slowly add the graded filler and mix until fully blended. Before the primer has reached initial cure the mixed mortar should be applied to the wet resin layer. The mortar should be firmly compacted into place and struck off to the correct profile using a steel trowel on vertical surfaces it may be necessary to build up the mortar in layers of 15-20 mm thickness. Araldite Heavy Duty Primer should be used between the layers. For overhead work or extensive repairs shuttering may be used and should be coated with Huntsman Release Agent QZ 11.

CURING
The correctly designed repair will withstand structural loads and aggressive chemical after curing for 7 days at 20s C.

CLEANING DOWN
Use Huntsman Cleaning Fluid.
